If you teach or lead in a No Excuses school, you'll enjoy Scott Seider's new book. Scott examines the character-building curriculum at 3 excellent Boston charters -- RoxPrep, BostonPrep, and Academy of the Pacific Rim. Each school has a different approach. Podcast Guru Matt Weber just interviewed Scott about the book. So if you're like my colleague Randall and consume a lot of podcasts, go here. If not, just go buy the book. It's an easy read.
I'm supposed to write a review next month, to compare/contrast Scott's book with Paul Tough's, for Commonwealth Magazine. So any thoughts welcome.
