Our grads know they have a lonnnnnnnnnnggggg way to go to become legitimately good. As rookies, most describe finding a role model veteran teacher in their schools; their eyes get wide, as they behold the teacher they hope to one day become.
Yet sometimes other rookies look to them, to our grads, and say "Hey, you're a new full-time teacher like me, but you seem to have at least some idea of what you're doing. How?"
