The basics:

• Tuition for those who arrive in August 2013 is $5,000. This covers both years -- the residency year at MTR, and the "support" year that follows.  (The remaining cost of training is paid for by donors and the schools which hire our alums). 
• No money is owed during the MTR year. Tuition is owed once graduates start receiving their paychecks as full-time teachers, after the MTR year. We collect tuition in 4 payments, spread out across two years of teaching. 
• If a Resident doesn't complete MTR, or if we fail to land them a teaching job before they graduate, they owe us no tuition.
• (Tuition for those who arrive in August 2012 is $4,000.)

Why do we keep tuition so low?  Teaching is a spiritually rewarding job, but not a particularly financially rewarding one.  We want to allow all residents to avoid taking any debt.
