Match School Opportunities

The relationship with your teacher is what makes you succeed or fail.
— Tamika, Match High School Senior

At Match, we believe the single most important thing we can do as educators is to staff our schools and programs with a dedicated and passionate team. As a result, we search relentlessly for the most talented individuals in the country to lead our schools, teach in our classrooms, tutor our students, and work at the organization level. Applications for current and future opportunities are available at the bottom of this page.

We are looking for teacher candidates with 2+ years of experience as a full-time lead teacher in a classroom (not including student teaching). If you are interested in working at Match as a teacher but don't yet have 2 years of full-time experience, please look into Match Teacher Residency.

I have never worked at another place where the teachers care about each other and the students so much! You have a consistent team of teachers and leaders who will do anything to support you and, most of all, to push the scholars forward. It is so refreshing and unique that every new scholar you get already has a fan club cheering them on and checking in with you about their progress, in addition to offering assistance.
— Nola Kosowsky, First Grade Teacher

In addition to the opportunities above, Match is always looking to connect with great individuals. If you are interested in connecting about teaching or leadership opportunities not listed here, please contact our Chief Talent Officer, Tobey Jackson, at tobey.jackson@matcheducation.org.

Please do not submit two applications. If you would like to be considered for more than one position, please indicate that in your cover letter.

Please note that for full-time classroom opportunities at Match, we require two years of experience in a classroom, preferably in an urban education setting. If you have less than two years of experience but are interested in working at Match as a classroom teacher, you may be interested in the Sposato Graduate School of Education.
